Grief Support Group

Mission

We support individuals as they honor their loss, process their emotions, and find renewed meaning and purpose in life. Our group is a space to reflect, build resilience, and support healthy integration of loss into life’s journey.

Our Grief Support

Grief is a very personal journey and is different for each person. There’s no set time frame for grieving; however, you don't have to feel alone. Our grief support group, Struggles to Strength, is a group where you can process loss, connect with others and can begin healing at your own pace.

Our group welcomes adults who are grieving the loss of something. Whether you're mourning the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, or any significant life change, the emotions can feel  overwhelming. Our goal is to provide compassionate guidance and resources to help you process your loss in a healthy and meaningful way.

Sessions are structured to provide emotional support, reduce feelings of isolation, help you find relief from pain, hear stories from others, help you return to regular routines, and ways to cope with and express your grief. They generally last 60-90 minutes and include guided conversations. You will have the option to share personal experiences or stories and participate in interactive activities.

In Struggles to Strength, people can freely express what they are thinking or feeling in a comfortable, secure and judgement-free space. Some themes that will be discussed include:

  • Understanding the stages of grief

  • Navigating grief triggers and milestones

  • How grief affects the body and mind

  • Guilt, anger and unresolved feelings

  • Rebuilding routines and purpose

  • Honoring legacies and memories

  • Topics from the group

Healing from grief does not mean forgetting your loved ones or what you have lost - it means finding a way to live with the loss while still embracing life. If you or someone you love is suffering with grief, you don't have to go through it alone. Contact us today to learn more about our grief support group and take the first step toward healing.
